Amy’s meditations have been an amazing help in connecting to the inner me. Through them, I have learned so much: to soothe my Warrior, whose hypervigilance was hampering my ability to trust; to honor the journeys of the Maiden I once was and the Mother I am now; to feel mothered even after the loss of my own mother here on earth; and to connect with the Crone as I look ahead to my journey through perimenopause and menopause. I feel more grounded, more centered and more loved.

Growing up, I was taught not to pay attention to my feelings, to stuff them down, to ignore them, to believe that what others wanted or needed or expected of me was more important than my own wants, needs, and feelings. I learned to suppress, put on a happy face, silently stew. My birth family does not communicate well about anything personal and, consequently, neither did I. But as Amy says, “That’s an old story”. The meditations help me to get out of my head and into my heart, to really get in touch with what is going on for ME on a deeper level. Thanks to Amy, her meditations, and the women of The Red Tent, I am writing a new story.

Amy's meditations invite all those present to go deeper into themselves to discover precious grains of truth, and to step intentionally into and through their healing journeys.

To say that my personal experiences with meditations and talking circles in the Red Tent have been transformative is an understatement. I have come to understand that I have more in common with other women than I thought, and have seen that the power we all have when we combine forces is amazing. Knowing that this power can be used to help the sister next to you heal is the most amazing experience. I have felt the energy of that healing personally and can sense it radiating from the sisters in circle around me

Through my experience with Amy's meditations, I was unconditionally connected with the wisdom I needed and the forgiveness I sought. And there was no longer grief. And I was at peace for the first time in a long while. I was to be 40 in two months and had it not been for the gift of that meditation I could not have marched towards that magical turning of time for myself in wholeness. My womb was no longer metaphorically small and black and hollow. While the grieving of the passing of my womb’s growing time would still come and go, I had healed.

I've never been patient enough for meditation. The guided meditations in circle have really transformed my life. Sometimes you need someone to you guide you to the parts of yourself you're afraid to go to alone.

Amy’s meditations remind us all that the gift of restoration ebbs and flows in the rhythm of our cycles and that we have the ability to tap into our wild wisdom to find the strength to change and heal.

Amy's meditations invite each woman to find her own inner goddess and to walk a path of personal wisdom and healing.

I feel like all the facets of me are evolving as I go deeper into our meditations. As a human, as a woman, a mother, daughter, sister, friend, lover, partner, and more. The meditations connect me to myself, the part of me that feels infinite.
