SEKHMET :: Rage
|
The lion-headed Goddess of Rage, Sekhmet is perhaps one of the oldest and most widely recognized deities in the Egyptian pantheon. Sekhmet was summoned by her father, Ra the Sun God, to punish mankind for not following his law. Sekhmet channeled her righteous rage in response to the imbalance and injustice that was inflicted by humans upon the world. When we embody the wild wisdom of Sekhmet, we grant ourselves permission to feel and express the full spectrum of human emotions and release the transformative power of our rage.
