LIFE DOULA SESSIONS

Wherever you are on your personal journey, dear Sister, I am here to listen, offer support, and to hold the lantern as you travel the path of healing and growth. As a Life Doula and Midwife of the Spirit, I will guide you in connecting to your inner Wise Woman; I will encourage you to find your authentic core and the well of your Sacred Feminine power. I believe that as humans, we naturally tend toward healing and authenticity, and that we all already have all the answers we need within us. 
The private support I offer women is heavily influenced by Jungian and Goddess Archetypal Framework, Nonviolent Communication, Empowered Embodiment, and Ceremony & Ritual, and Sacred Feminism.

What is a Life Doula?
The term Doula translates literally as "woman who serves." Many of us are now familiar with the recent re-emergence of birth doulas and have experienced first-hand, or have heard or read about, the positive benefits of hiring a birth doula. The role of the birth doula is to help educate and empower the birthing mother during her pregnancy, and to accompany and support the mother -- both physically and emotionally -- during labor and birth so that she may experience the most authentic and empowered birth possible. 

Similarly, a Life Doula is a woman whose passion is educating and empowering women to experience their most authentic and empowered LIFE possible. A Life Doula is akin to a life coach, but with a specific emphasis on the experiences and phases of women's lives, and the transformation women experience as they birth themselves into being. This can happen many times in a woman's life journey.
