COUNCIL OF MOTHERS
Mothering our sons and daughters is the ultimate spiritual practice, and women need the Village at this time more than any other phase of their lives. Council of Mothers circles invite women to discuss, process, brain-storm, and most importantly, receive support and guidance around issues that are unique to the journey of motherhood.

We must not underestimate our power, dear mothers, for it will be from the ongoing and enduring acts of our maternal love that a new day will dawn.

CHILDREN AND SOCIAL MEDIA
How can we mothers best guide our iGen (tween and teen) children in the age of social media? Research indicates that the current generation of children is experiencing more mental health concerns than previous pre-wired generations because of the ubiquity of screens and social media, and we mothers are struggling to navigate the ever-evolving terrain. As mothers, we ask ourselves what is appropriate, what is safe, and what is necessary? In this gathering, we will share our stories, our concerns, and our insight. Together we will co-create a village to support each other through what may be our most challenging years of parenting yet.

RAISING BOYS WITH INTENTION
With ever-increasing awareness of the toxic effects of raising boys in a patriarchal culture, many mothers are now bringing immense intention to the well-being of our growing sons. We mamas are at the forefront of the movement to raise emotionally intact boys, and need our tribe more than ever as we blaze new trails through this uncharted territory. Together we will share wisdom, research, and resources as we cultivate a new social narrative as mothers of sons.

RAISING GIRLS WITH INTENTION
Much attention has been focused recently on the many ways that our culture hinders and confines girls of all ages, and we mothers are now able to bring awareness to the myriad ways that a patriarchal society suppresses our daughters inherent power and wisdom. With our passionate intention to allow our daughters to grow into their most radiant potential, we come together to explore strategies, support, and sisterhood as we raise our amazing girls.

RAISING NON-BINARY CHILDREN
As we enter a new era of awareness around gender stereotypes and identity authenticity, more and more children are stepping outside of the limitations of the binary gender box and exploring gender fluidity. As parents, what do we need to know in order to support and guide our children as they navigate this new emotional, psychological, and physical terrain? Together we will discuss the challenges and rewards of this new facet of twenty-first century mothering.

ADJUSTING TO AN EMPTY NEST
Our journey of motherhood does not end when our children leave the nest, yet women are often unprepared for the dramatic shift that we feel when our sons and daughters are no longer under our roof. Women may experience a vast array of emotions from relief to grief, and everything in between. In this circle, we will express and process our experience with our empty-nesting sisters, and focus on the ways in which we can support ourselves in this phase of our journey.
